"Patrick Swayze...is a seething mass of sensuality"

That is an actual quote from the movie box! (Remember, Joannie?)

Mmm... I have seen a couple of really good movies in the past couple of days. Yesterday the "CineExtra" (like a little touch of indie) at the local theater was The Motorcycle Diaries, a biographical portrayal of Che Guevara's travels across South America that sparked a revolution inside him, starring (bestill my beating heart) Gael Garcia Bernal, he of the kissable lips. And tonight, none other than Dirty Dancing.

Amazingly enough, these two utterly disparate movies have several common threads: basic human dignity, breaking down class barriers, standing your ground, idealism and the loss of naivete, and that rock-hard something inside you that insists that you ought to be able to make the world a little bit better just by living in it...not to mention the seething masses of sensuality. That's kind of a common theme, too.
