OK techie friends, now is your time to shine. I would like to change my blogger name to Jessica (that being my actual name and all). Where can I do that? I checked through all of "Settings", but if it's there I missed it.
Anyone out there medically trained? I am having a weird foot problem: see if you have any advice. My left foot just started hurting like crazy, for no discernable reason. It's not swollen or anything (maybe a little black and blue underneath), but it feels like my arch just suddenly fell. Almost like that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you are on a roller coaster (I dislike roller coasters), except on my foot. Does that make any sense? I feel like I need to prop up my arch with something, and I can't walk right. It is annoying me.
And my radiator is making ominous dripping sounds. Does that mean it is planning to whizz on me, or do radiators sometimes just do that? I have had radiators before (hooray LSTC housing built in the 1920's!), and they made all sorts of disgusting and eerie noises, but this particular noise is new to me.
OK, enough on the asking-advice front. Now an update: no luggage yet. How do I feel about that? Use your imaginations. Maybe it would help if I wrote it like this: NO. LUGGAGE. YET. Or like this: no luggage yet ?!?!?!?!?

On the Blogger start page (www.blogger.com/home), there's an "Edit Profile" link. Click on that and change your display name to Jessica. That should do it.
Your foot hurting clearly indicates some sort of electrolyte imbalance. I recommend 15-20 gallons (60-80 liters) of a Gatorade/french fry blend.
Your radiator sounds like it's possessed (which you already know; I mean your story indicates to me that your radiator's probably possessed). Time to roll out that new diaconal minister hat and do some exorcizing!

Wait a minute, maybe it didn't work. The identity says Jessica on the commenting page, but then shows up as What you too on the blog. Wassup???
Weird. Try logging out of and back into blogspot - maybe it assigns your display name when you log in. Your profile says "Jessica" in the same place and the same weird gray font that mine says "Charlie", so I officially decree it should-be-working status.

About IM: I tried to download a trillian upgrade and it didn't work, system went poof! and I haven't downloaded it again yet. Also got distracted by blogging. I will get right on that.
