Links links

(The title is almost funny if you know German. But even then, not very.)
Due to an outpouring of outrage that I am providing the blogosphere with "boring" links that "never get updated," I have now arranged my links to "other blogs" in the leftmost column according to recent updating frequency. If the relative position of your blog on my list actually matters to you, blog owners, I will update the order if and when that becomes necessary. This is not meant to inspire blog envy (um... I could never get that straight: would that be for the people who have blogs or the ones who don't?), but a little good old-fashioned competition never hurt anybody. Note the new link to my Token Friend in Wittenberg, Heather, whose dedication, determination and Boring Daytime Job with Internet Access have catapulted her to top ranking in my little world.

Sigh. Some day I'll find a culture where acceptance isn't performance-based. Apologies to all I've bored.

Yes... "links on the left-hand side" or something like that. Charlie, I hope you realize this post was meant tongue-in-cheek. Your acceptance here in this little blogging community is unconditional--this has nothing to do with any sort of achievement whatsoever, just that you are Charlie. (Relative link placement is not acceptance, in my mind.)

YES! For once my boring life has awarded me great things -- top blog placement on "What, you too?"! And, of course, official status as Token Friend. That has always been a life-long goal of mine, to be someone's Token Friend.

If I can figure out how to add links to my template, I'll add you. But until then, people will just have to see your name in the comments and deal with it.

Also, yes, I spent practically ALL DAY on the phone yesterday. And made squeaky rice! It was exciting, pft hahahaha.
