From an MSNBC article: "People need to remember that there is a difference between manners and morals," says Judith Martin, a columnist and author better known as Miss Manners. "Manners are: if you don't get caught, it doesn't count."
OK, I am off to a New Year's retreat tonight. It's at a monastery with four Lutheran brothers, and, this weekend, about twenty young adults as well. I am almost salivating at the prospect of young adults. I wonder if I still know how to act around people my age? Hooray for my bosses letting me have tomorrow off (because I did such fantastic work for the two weeks they were gone--they have no idea how bored I was). So, no more blog entries till Sunday night, but don't let that stop you from commenting up a storm, people.

So did you remember how to conduct yourself with all those young people? I hope you had fun.
