Here I am, call me!

Right now, this very second, would be a marvelous time to have an IM conversation. I am at work, and my bosses are not here. Which is not to say that I have license to be lazy, because that's not the case--they left me with a list of things to do, and I have done them. The real problem here is that I am too stinking efficient! (Ha.) The nature of my work is such that the majority of my work comes directly from them (me being the Project Assistant and all), and when they are not here, my pipeline is gone. Maybe it's like when your dealer gets arrested (where did that analogy come from?). Anyway, the upshot is, I am stuck here for 8 hours in case the phone rings or an urgent e-mail comes in (perhaps you can guess how often that happens), but the most productive task I can think of is to organize my paperwork (which basically consists of me throwing away everything not stapled to something important) or to mop the floor, which I will get to in due time. Hence the IM availability. But not one of my contacts is online. Do you people have nothing better to do at 3:25 am than sleep? Sheesh.
