me: I got to see Joy, one of my seminary roommates, last week.
me: It was awesome in so many ways.
me: Here was a person with whom I already had the depth of friendship that grows out of living together for three years and facing multiple life hurdles together.
me: It was precisely the kind of thing I had been missing so much in Germany.
me: And we pretty much delved right into talking about the important, life-changing stuff.
me: The other thing about Joy is that she and I are incredibly similar in a lot of ways, from politics to theology to passions to being ENFPs both of us.
me: And so when we got to talking about how we had grown and changed and what our specific challenges were with work and relationships, etc, we found out that the same themes kept coming up again and again.
me: It was basically just awesome.
me: Hmm. Maybe I need to put this on my blog.
