Really the title alone should suffice, but I'll elaborate a bit. :-)
I'm home!!!!!!!!!!! It feels great, if a little overpowering. I have a bit of sensory overload which probably just translates into a large amount of relief coupled with the many impressions of urban life in Chicago (where I will be for another couple of hours, visiting my friend Joanne)...
It's so nice to spend time with someone who knows me over a long period of time, someone who knows and loves me for who I am and just laughs at the way I'm totally still in survival mode ("You might want to think about getting an extra key for this back door, so you can get out in case of emergency"). It's so nice and easy and so very totally relieving, being here.

You did it! You are HOME and it is WONDERFUL and I know I am not the only one who is happy that you're back on this side of the ocean. Woohoo!
And a question: what's that recipe that you and Elizabeth would make while she was visiting you? It's maybe a sweet pancake type thing? King-something-or-other, maybe? I'm pretty sure we'd eat it with jam? I dunno. Help! :)
