ONE WEEK!

I leave a week from today. It's almost over.

Exile: being separated from something you like.
Exodus: getting the hell out!

And the next 7 days are mostly filled with such things as Weekend and Packing (although I have been mostly packed for approximately 3 months now - want to leave much?) and Parties and Appointments for that Last-Minute Dinner and whatnot.

I want to have a reasonable look back at how my life was here. Right now, I'm not exactly wearing the rose-colored glasses in terms of assessing the overall quality of the Wittenberg Experience *cough*, but I am quite sure that it hasn't always been this bad. I distinctly remember having fun here, for example. I'm sure of it. But at the same time, even a year and a half ago, I knew that I was already starting to make huge adjustments in my mental processes in order to survive. Yikes. That's a lot of repression.

I hesitate to make any profound statements at this point, but it seems like most of the repressed feelings have found their way up and out. Whew.

I'm gonna make it.

Yay, congratulations but don't stop blogging just because you're moving.
