What goes around...

Clearly my reluctance to leave has given me bad karma. Because here I sit, 90 agonizing minutes from "home", yet completely unable to get there, at least until tomorrow morning. My connecting flight in Amsterdam was cancelled, and the next two were full, so I didn't get in until 9:30 pm, 5 hours later than I was planning and just barely late enough to have missed the last train to Wittenberg.

So after a wee little breakdown of sorts (truly, I nipped it in the bud - be proud!), I dragged my favorite electric blue suitcase, which very unfortunately acquired a gimp leg somewhere over the Atlantic, to the nearest hostel, which very fortunately is not far away at all from the train station where the airport bus dropped me off. And here I sit, frustrated beyond belief, not having slept for 34 hours but unable to fall asleep because that would be just too convenient and practical. Ugh.

But at least I have internet access. Silver linings, eh?

To all of you who made my vacation amazing and relaxing and exciting and therapeutic: many thanks and big hugs.

My heart goes out to you, being all alone and stuck, unable to sleep. :( I am going to pray that you will be showered with 3 unique and surprising blessings this first week back. Let us know... Love you- Amy
