Today was jam-packed with details. Juicy clementines and the brisk wind whipping through my coat finding all those tiny places on my neck that the scarf didn't cover and Rent on my MP3 player and a Christmas scent in the air at the gym and that dog on my way home from work - the one that barks like a knife and scares me every time - today he was baying at the moon. I have never heard a dog in real life do that. I thought canine conversing with the full moon was something confined to the unworlds of cartoons and Young Adult Fiction. But no, it was real and alive and it made my skin crawl and the little hairs on my neck stand at attention: there was the dog, behind a fence standing on the dumpster howling his little heart out at the moon which was covered uncovered covered again by the cotton candy clouds and it shoulda been a movie, I tell ya.
And it is a full moon today; I looked it up. Both my dad (jail administrator) and my mom (nursing supervisor - night shift) have always sworn that they have a full house every time there's a full moon. Did you feel it today? Did you wake up with a mischievous glint or fight a few Mr. Hyde impulses? You're not alone. It's a howler tonight.

Lovely prose. I repeat: "You should publish."
Aw, shucks. *blushes* It's fun to have friends who are editors!
I dunno, though. I don't think I can really write on command, except for term papers, which aren't really all that much fun. :-)
I hate full moons. Bleah.
I have felt a little off these past couple of days.... guess I could ascribe it to full moons
