This meme looks fun, and you know I am all about the self-disclosure.

Accent: Nope - apparently not even in German (I'm proud of that one :-)
Booze: Don't like it much or drink it much. Beer makes me fall immediately asleep and wine gives me a headache. It's sometimes hard to avoid here, though, without seriously insulting people. I won't miss that bit.
Chore I Hate: Doing dishes, especially when it means leaning down at an awkward angle and staring at my cupboards endlessly.
Dog or Cat: We've always been cat people. I get cats. I wouldn't mind trying out a dog sometime, but only when I'm in a position where I can really take care of it. And then I'd need a Goldilocks dog - not too big and scary, not too small and yappy.
Essential Electronics: Not so much the electronics, but what they connect me to. Right now I am pretty sure I couldn't live without Internet. But I'm not picky about which device gets me there! I sure do liek my mp3 player, but "essential" is taking it a bit far.
Favorite Cologne: I don't wear any. But I sure do love to smell men's cologne. I wish I knew which ones!
Gold or Silver: Enh.
Hometown: White Bear Lake, MN, where half of my high school classmates still are.
Insomnia: Yup. I need better stress outlets and some freaking friends.
Job Title: Managing Director (and diaconal minister)
Kids: I sure hope so, someday.
Living arrangements: Alone. But not for long!
Most admirable traits: Capable, intelligent
Number of sexual partners: Dude. I don't even have friends.
Overnight hospital stays: Only while I was working there. I've been really healthy and injury-free, and I'm appropriately grateful.
Phobias: None. I dislike calling people on the phone when I have to speak German, but I do it. (In fact, I spend at least half of my time here doing things I dislike.) I love heights and public situations, don't mind snakes or spiders or long-leggedy beasties or things that go bump in the night (except the poisonous ones).

Religion: Grew up Catholic, am Lutheran now. I very badly need religious community.
Siblings: My baby sister is a doctor and has a daughter and a husband.
Time I wake up: 7-ish, and usually also 3-ish for a bout of ceiling-staring.
Unusual talent or skill: Umm...I think I have a pretty decent range of skills, but I can't think of anything really unusual. I can be an impressive belcher. Does that count?
Vegetable I love: All of them, pretty much; the greener the better. It's (yellow) asparagus season now... yummy.
Worst habit: Boredom snacking, I guess.
X-rays: Teeth, arm... that's all I can remember. I don't have much of an injury record.
Yummy foods I make: They are all pretty yummy! Lots of soups lately: asparagus, carrot.
