I was checking out some internet resources on IRS rules and taxes and such, trying to figure out how the transition from living abroad to living stateside is going to work, tax-wise... and I found an answer to a question I had never thought to ask.
But perhaps you have.
And so I include the following as a public service announcement:
Yes indeed, you do have to include on your tax return your stolen or embezzled property or money, side commissions, and push money from the fiscal year in question, so keep good records! Kickbacks? Must be reported. Laundered money? That too. And don't forget the bribes.
