I am still doing the happy dance. Because, you see, I have friends. Here, in this very town. And let me tell you, I have earned it. I have put in my months in social purgatory, and now I reap my heavenly reward: today I had a dinner party with more guests than I have chairs. Oh, the wonder and the awe of it. This is indeed heaven, and whether I arrived here by merit or grace, I have the good sense to sit back and enjoy it while it lasts.
And Vreni was here last weekend, and Jasmin comes next weekend, and tomorrow I get to drive to the Baltic Sea with two friends (notice how I just slip the word into this conversation, all sly-like) and take part in a videography seminar wherein we actually film our own short video. Keep an eye out for me at next year's Cannes.

Thanks, PPB. I was definitely dropping the word friend, although no one had to twist my arm about the Baltic Sea bit, either. :-)
!!! I am jealous that you had a party with more friends than chairs! But I can't really complain, I was sitting in the Berlin airport waiting for my plane to take off (an hour late!).
Anyway, I am glad you had a great time at the party and near the sea, and you'll definitely have to do it again so that I too can partake in the festivities :)
