Randomosity

I just came across a stack of old, used folders. There's a battered old red one that must have been from seminary, because it has the echoes of that time: notable quotes from professors and friends and the occasional stray thought from my admittedly eccentric mind. Here's a sampling:

• Might not "parish"... but have eternal life. Doh!
• Message to rich/poor-- liberating, but polemical.
• How do we know what we claim to know? Reason <--> Revelation
• "Exegete Boldly!" -- DR
• Rebuke! Repulsive!
• His call is the church's call, to step out of hypocrisy into integrity... "rock"-- bring it home to "us." He did walk on the water a bit.
• How can we look at the dark side without being overwhelmed by it?
• What are the systems I participate in?
• You and I, every day, carry our standard of living on the backs of so many people.
  

In completely other news, I just found out that the reason my room has been smelling like ass is that the other cat (the one who's not mine) has been using the dark far corner my closet floor as his own personal litterbox, for apparently a long while now. Ew ew ew. So I swept and mopped and washed a LOT of clothes and hopefully it will smell WAY better in here now.
