I want to get a tattoo. I've been thinking about it for a while and it doesn't seem to want to go away.
But I'm not sure what, or where.
What do you think?

hmmm. i have one, and while i don't dislike it, i probably wouldn't bother getting it again. i recommend getting it someplace you can show off easily via clothes when you want to, but also cover easily. and something reasonably simple and classic.
Mine's on my right shoulder (shoulder proper, not the shoulder blade). Since then someone's said it's a "guy" place to get a tattoo. I don't agree, though. I find it an easy place to show off or hide, depending on my mood. Some advice: Have a consultation with your potential tattoo artist first. Look at his/her portfolio. More often than not, an artist is THRILLED to help you design a custom tattoo. Also, listen to your artist about how big your tattoo should be. You'll probably walk in thinking you want something small, but a professional artist will know how it will look proportioned to the body part you choose.
