H2 Oh no!

It's kind of amazing how something wonderful, taken out of context, can be so destructive. I just spilled a whole glass of water all over my desk. My desktop = definitely not the correct context for ice water.

I just sat there in stunned disbelief for a second before my brain registered that I needed to be moving things and grabbing towels and being generally efficient and grown-up. Thankfully, I just missed damaging my laptop, checkbook, purse contents, cell phone, calendar and some really important files. Most of the water got sopped up by my "to be recycled" pile. (There goes the earth, takin' one for the team again.)

There are so many worse tragedies in the world. So very many. But man, what a glass of water can do.
