Ever notice how Hollywood films stop with the happily ever after? I think it's because the plot gets really boring after that. Good entertainment is rife with misunderstandings and longings and conflict and unrequited everything. Once you get to the place where things are going along spiffily, without the exciting, heart-wrenching bumpiness, there's just not all that much left to report.
That's my life lately - blessedly, remarkably unremarkable. Certainly there are high points and people who make me smile and new friendships to explore and long walks to take at night, and certainly there are little frustrations and bumps and endless discussions about how many gallons of milk we buy in a week, but it's just life. Life after the end of the film. The real stuff.

Yay for that life.
Sounds like a good place to be, and I'm happy to hear you are there. That's kind of my life, too (hence the lack of blog posts from me).
I've been thinking of you--happy belated birthday, by the way!--and reading since you invited me to your invitation-only blog, I just haven't found any good words to share. I'd love to get together and catch up--let me know whenever that may be an option for you.
