Excuse me?

Wisconsin, I have a bone to pick with you.

Snow?

You've got to be kidding me. "Out like a lamb" was two weeks ago. Punxsutawney Phil saw no shadow this year! This is springtime now. Chirping birds, crocuses, tulips, Easter eggs - not snowmen and igloos and ski pants.

Today the mailman came over and scraped off my car for me because he saw me ineffectually trying to do it with a pair of mittens instead of a proper scraper, which I had removed from my car two weeks ago because IT'S SPRING NOW and rain doesn't need to be scraped.

Sheesh.

Hey--don't blame Wisconsin! There's snow here in Iowa too! (Okay, maybe not enough to need a scraper, but still...)

And yet, you managed just fine in your sandals.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. It's opening weekend of baseball here in T-town. Kevin and I have tickets to the game on Saturday and it might get called due to snow. SO MUCH FOR SPRING!

Although, I hear it's supposed to be nice come July...

(Side note - the Cleveland Indians haven't played a game in Cleveland yet. They're playing in Milwaukee. TALK ABOUT CRAZY!)

A credit card or similar makes a great emergency windshield scraper. Though I usally use my grocery rewards card, because I don't know what ice will do to the magnetic strip on my credit card. (BTW, Heto, Silly Misanthrope and I have Cubs tickets for this weekend. Forecast: 48 degrees.)
