Exactly. You take the good, you take the bad, etc. Not enough co-workers, not enough questions... But on the other hand, there are all those things that keep you going. When does it get easy? :-)
Amy, you weren't the first person to be confused. I think I overestimated the extent to which Disney resides in our American collective unconscious. :-) Short background to quote: after Aladdin rubs the lamp and lets the genie out, said genie (voiced by Robin Williams and with this particular spark in his eye) has to explain to Aladdin that he is, essentially, a slave to whomever happens to have rubbed the lamp last and earned his three wishes. Hence, his tradee-offs: "Phenomenal cosmic power, itty bitty living space."
Vielleicht kann ich hier auch eine kurze Erklärung des Wortes "trade-offs" anschliessen: bei jeder Arbeitstelle (oder auch Situation überhaupt) muss man die entsprechenden Nachteile einfach in Kauf nehmen. Und das ist ein Trade-off.)
